Madoka Magica is an anime series that was directed by Akiyuki Shinbou, and writter by the tear bringing Gen Urobuchi, or Urobutcher. The anime first aired in Japan on January 6 2011, to April 21, 2011. The last two episodes were delayed after the earthquake and tsunami that struck Japan. After the sad, yet very satisfying ending many fans raved for a continuing story.
